Goldenrod (Solidago Canadensis) is especially effective on two systems in the body- the respiratory system and the kidney/urinary tract system. This plant is traditionally used for seasonal or chronic allergies and it can be used in acute moments of allergy attack or as a daily preventative leading up to allergy season (and would work well preventatively combined with liver support and nettle tea). Goldenrod can also helpful for easing painful urination.*

Goldenrod is a late bloomer in the garden and usually puts out it’s large sprays of bright yellow flowers at the Fall Equinox. This plant has a perfume-like scent and taste. and the honey bees love to forage from these blossoms.
